The first game of the season and the first win.
If the thought of getting a good grade on my organic chem test was enough motivation to study, I would be in good shape. However, since it’s not , I turn to peanut m&ms. That’s what really gets me going.
Tonight, I skyped my best friend at Union, tried to skype my bestie at Tech, and wished my other bestie at MTSU had a skype account. Anyway, had I remembered to take an action shot, I wouldn’t have to draw it out. This is as good as it gets. I aint no artist.
I’m working at a Christian kids camp this summer, so I’ve been preparing the Bible study for each day. Today, I was working on memorizing and studying the key verse for the summer (Philippians 4:19). Mainly I was trying to think how a 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grader could apply it to their lives and really UNDERSTAND how God provides.
Later, (still in a elementary school mindset) I went to our college worship service at church. Lo and behold, our pastor preached about Philippians 4:19. It was like God was saying, “Hey, you’re never too OLD or too YOUNG for Me to teach you through My Word.” Truth.
It looks like the greenery is trying to break through the dead grass and leaves, but Spring is not here yet. Today was around 40 degrees and kind of gloomy. In hopes that God will throw us the sun-shiny weather, I’m still sporting the Chacos. Confession: It was all I could do not to wrap my sweat shirt around my toes to keep them from freezing.
